Software products and associated document and data files are delivered by e-mail attachments or link to a download site. An option to purchase a backup CD is available. Software products are delivered upon receipt and authorization of payment.  

We accept payment by:

• Charge Card (VISA and Mastercard)
• Corporate/Business/University Purchase Order

(deliveries to locations outside the U.S. require pre-payment in U.S. Dollars routed through an intermediary bank located in the U.S.)

Complete the “Ordered by”, “Deliver to”, “Payment” and product selection sections on the form. E-mail completed order form (with supporting purchase order, if applicable) to [email protected]. For charge card payments, card details may be left blank with a request in the email for a call-back from Horizon Technologies to complete the order and obtain card details over the phone. Be sure to include person’s name, phone number, and preferred date/time for the call-back. A confirmation of the Horizon Technologies call-back originating phone number and date/time will be emailed.

E-mail [email protected] to place orders for any of the software products. Please use or refer to the Software Products Order Form when placing an order for specifics on operating system constraints and license type. All amounts shown are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable U.S. sales tax. Software delivery of most products is by e-mail attachment or other electronic delivery mechanism of files and documentation. Prices exclude shipping and handling charges. A backup CD may be purchased – within the U.S. and Canada the optional CD is $25 and shipped via Priority Mail service, otherwise contact Horizon Technologies for a quote of export, shipping, and handling charges. For international shipments, Import and Customs charges are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping by other means, at customer’s request, may incur additional charges.

RETURN and EXCHANGE POLICY – Upon receipt of the software, please review the END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA), the SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE type listed on the License Certificate, and applicable computer operating system. If any of these are not what was ordered you have ten (10) business days from date of your receipt of the software to request an exchange for the correct license type or version, and only if such version is available. A refund of the purchase can be made within ten (10) business days, less incurred shipping, agency handling, and customs/export fees, if the software is shown not to operate as documented in the User’s Guide. The software cannot be returned for exchange or refund after ten (10) business days.

Discounts for Multiple Copies of the same software within the same organization are provided and vary depending on the specific software product and quantity being purchased. Contact Horizon Technologies for information on multi-copy corporate or organization license agreements.

Small Group License allows installation of the software on multiple computers used by a user group of up to 10 individuals located within the same corporation, institution, or organization division, and located at the same geographic site.

Single User License depending on the software product, a Single User License allows installation of the software on multiple computers used by a single user or the ability to transfer a license key to another computer as needed. Software products that require separate license activation files for each computer may require that the software be uninstalled from previously used computers before a new license activation file can be issued. Reasonable safeguards must be applied by licensee that disallows others who have access to such computers from using software products with a Single User License.

Developer’s Package allows custom software programs to be developed for use within the same Small Group, with the same restrictions as described under the Small Group License description. A Developer’s Package DOES NOT ALLOW for the distribution of software, either within a licensee’s organization (outside of the licensee’s Small Group) or commercially (whether for sale, as part of a deliverable for a client contract, or freely distributed), that contains any portion of the software obtained through Horizon Technologies. If a developer wishes to create derivative works for broader distribution, please contact Horizon Technologies for information on obtaining a separate Development and Distribution License for distribution of derivative works that incorporate any portion of software distributed by Horizon Technologies.

Software purchased by one company on behalf of another company must be clearly indicated at the time of purchase, and any intention or expectation that the purchasing company will be using the software on behalf of the end-use company must be also clearly indicated.
